I'm planning my first trip to Prague after months of non-stop work, and I'm eager to explore some exceptional cocktail bars in and around the cityâŠ
Prague is more touristy, accessible (for English speaker), felt more modern, arguably has better food, and beer. I found Budapest to be more unique, have better/hipper bars, way less touristy, and thermal baths. I also found Hungarian culture to be more unique, and felt less westernized compared to Czech culture. 27. baileaf29.
Afaik They are open but only for fully vaccinated* or people who have recovered from the virus in the past 6 months. A negative PCR test is not enough, unless you have had the second vaccine dose in the past 14 days or you have a proven medical condition that you cannot get vaccinated.
If youâre not satiated by that lot youâll need to walk up the hill (or get a tram one stop) to Prague Beer Museum. KnoflĂk - a punk pub on AndÄl where you can smoke (you have to pay about 20KÄ for a "club membership" because of that). Balada bar - not that well known as it's still quite new, but a very nice metal/ug bar that also does concerts, recommend!
Looks like Prague has numbered neighborhoods and Don Giovanni hotel is in "Praha 3." Not sure what the hippest neighborhood numbers are here. When I started watching YouTube walking tour vids of Prague a few years ago, the vids were mainly taken on the Charles Bridge and through the town square that it leads into.
