The skin is from a collection called a new look I got it from the trainer after finishing the skyscale unlock she sent a mail about rifts after speaking with her the collection unlocks.

also skyscale does not require as precise aiming as springer does. i mean have you ever tried to land on some branch with springer, and repeatedly missed it? with skyscale you do not have that problem, because you can carefully just maneuver skyscale on top of the branch. and if you miss, you just drop down a bit rather than having to try again all the way from the ground.
that argument is simply wrong. people choose to ignore all the scenery, you can easily choose to fly a metre or less above the ground and view it all. the fact is it still happens in GW2 with the raptor and jackal. if you are just looking to get from one place to the other then you are not gonna pay much attention to anything other than

Skyscale takes way too much work to get and as a mount is almost totally worthless. And it's not even fun to use. Have better things to do with my time. Like finishing my legendary armor sets (which ARE worth the effort). If they make some major adjustments to the Skyscale that make it fun and useful then I will continue the journey.
