Manual states every 60,000 km for the DSG fluid/filter change - no mention of time. My car is coming close to 3 years old with only ~30,000 km of everyday driving.

Hello VW fanatics, I was wondering how often you are servicing your DSGs. I have a MK7.5 w/ the 7 speed, and VW recommends 80k. I typically change my trans fluids every 30k for good measure on my previous vehicles. Or shorter with heavy use. Does anyone change their DSG in shorter intervals?
Timing Belt on 2.0 TDI\'s - Replacement Interval. If diesel is .30 gal cheaper, and you go 15-20 miles further per gallon, you'd need a very expensive TB change that occurs more than every hundred thousand miles to make your statement true. I'm guessing 400-500 bucks, and the 100k mile interval is longer than any gas powered cars I've owned in
So I went to the dealer today to get an oil change and my electronic diff fluid change. It’s a 15 with a PP. wow they had never done a fluid change on the vw eletronic differential. Talk about pulling teeth the writer found the line to schedule the service. The tech came back saying the didn’t have it.
Those DQ200 transmissions are tiny. The mechatronic unit uses a hydraulic fluid like a power steering fluid. I think the VW part number is G 004 000 M2. It's a Pentosin CHF 202 type of product and only takes about a liter. The gearbox uses gear oil. VW G 055 512 A2 which is a 75W-80 GL4 product. I think it takes about 2 liters.

My local dealer has quoted me £244 for DSG Oil and filter change (I assume this includes labour) Vehcle is 4 years old but less than 20k but intend to have this done at the MOT / Oil change next month. Would like your opinion on how I should go about this. I've looked at both the official VW and Audi sheets (for service interval guidelines). The Haldex is required to be serviced every 3 years regardless of distance travelled. The DSG however, clearly states a service interval of 40000 miles (almost 65000km) on both the Audi and VW sheets.

But in general, there are a few rules you can follow to suss out when it’s time to fix the oil. Manual gearboxes normally require an oil change every 30,000 to 50,000 miles. Automatic gearboxes

According to the Bentley Publishers the Golf and GTi engine should replace the timing belt at either 80,000 miles (128,000 kilometers) or 120,000 miles (180,000 kilometers), depending on engine model. If you in fact have the 2.0 liter engine, then it should be changed at 120,000 miles (180,000 kilometers).
